Masala Maggi

Masala Maggi recipe (Shimla style)

Who doesn’t love Maggi and like most other people I love my Maggi just the way it is until one day. And one of my  favorite food memories is eating Masala Maggi on the streets of Shimla.
The beautiful views of  Himalayan mountains, valley and a plate of steaming hot maggi mmmmmm  Bliss…so I thought why not recreate this …I saw a few variations but one of the main ingredients  is of course Shimla Mirch ( capsicum/ green pepper)

So here’s the recipe, (for 1 which can be doubled as needed)
Ingredients:
1 pack of Masala maggi
 Half Green pepper/Capsicum, sliced
1 small White onions, sliced
1/4th cup Ice berg Lettuce or Cabbage, shredded
Spices (Chilli powder, Chaat masala, coriander powder, turmeric) a pinch each or half tsp. if you love spicy food.
And a pinch of salt.
Oil
Method:
In a separate bowl mix the green pepper, onions, the spices and salt. Drizzle a little oil and mix

Next, boil 1and half tea cups (or 225ml) of water in a pan, then add Maggi and masala sachet, mix it, add the veggies cook for a minute.

Then add lettuce/cabbage cover with a lid, cook for another minute. And it’s done.
